This fantastic book focuses on a group of friends in Chicago and the devastation of the AIDS crisis in the 1980s. In the midst of a pandemic when “we’re all in this together,”
this book tells about a modern pandemic when the victims were shunned, shamed, and left to die. This novel about the power of friendship was my favorite book of 2018.
